Terms of service

By creating an account on Preservo you agree to these terms. Preservo is currently in invite-only beta; access is granted at the operator's discretion.

Preservo is a private family memory archive. You upload your own documents and recordings; you ask AI questions that are answered only from your own archive. You retain full ownership of everything you upload.

You are responsible for keeping your email and sign-in credentials secure. You may invite family members; they receive access at the permission level you assign (viewer or contributor). Contributors can add content to the family archive — that content remains in the archive even if the contributor later leaves or is removed.

You agree not to use Preservo to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Upload content of living people without their consent — especially voice recordings and identifiable photographs.
• Scrape, automate, or otherwise stress the service.
• Attempt to bypass the access controls, allow-list, or family-membership boundaries.

The Ask feature returns answers grounded in your own sources, with citations. We do our best to keep answers faithful to the cited passages, but AI systems can still misread context. Treat answers as a starting point, not a verdict. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of AI-generated summaries.

You can download all your data and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent. See our privacy policy for details on what we store and for how long.

Preservo is provided “as is.” While we work hard to keep your archive safe, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or protection against every possible failure. Keep your own backups of irreplaceable documents and recordings.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Preservo and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create legal risk for other users. You may close your own account at any time from Settings.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The “last updated” date will change and we will notify active accounts by email when changes are material.
